Partnerships

Modern Food Journal considers a limited range of collaborations that make sense beside independent writing about food, cooking and the life around a meal. Any commercial material must be clear to readers and must not blur the line between a paid placement and an editorial choice.

Suitable collaborations

We are open to discussing relevant partner features, clearly identified product or service placements, and sponsorship of a defined section or series. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, proposed placement and commercial relationship. We do not accept work that depends on unsupported health promises or asks readers to mistake promotion for independent advice.

Clear labels, separate decisions

Partner material and paid placements are labelled in plain language near the content. Commercial partners do not approve independent editorial coverage, select its conclusions or receive an implied endorsement through proximity. We may decline a proposal if its presentation could confuse readers about who is speaking.

Start a conversation

Send a partnership proposal through the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, placement and any relevant conditions. We review proposals for fit and clarity; getting in touch does not guarantee a collaboration.

At our table

A meal is more than what is on the plate.

The way food is chosen, prepared and shared gives it meaning. We make space for those details without turning every meal into a project.
